The Payer Credentialing Specialist will assist in the development and maintaining of payer credentialing files for all providers for whom the Physician Revenue Cycle Services (PRCS) department performs professional billing.
Other providers may be added as needed.
The incumbent will utilize designated computer software in order to organize monitor and report provider credentials.
Qualifications/Education/Licensures:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in a physician office or medical billing operation is required.
Must be able to use all components of MS Office Suite.
Provider Enrollment Specialist Certificate must be completed within 24 months of start date Recommended Skills Billing Credentialing Medical Billing And Coding Microsoft Office Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
