Job Description:
Pride and Prejudoodles is seeking a Dog Trainer with at least 1
years of experience of canine training (training your own pet does not count towards professional experience).
Pride and Prejudoodles is a holistic training institute that selects the best of our extensively genetically tested Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, and Cockapoos to be trained into wonderful pets and therapy and emotional support dogs.
Potential Trainer Candidate:
The ideal candidate has an open mind when it comes to canine training techniques and a portfolio showcasing their past trainees.
You will need to have a passion for helping train and socialize dogs to help make a smooth transition for a dog into an owner's home.
A trainer will need to be responsible, diligent, professional in demeanor, and can articulate well with clients as the learning process is not just for the dogs but the dog's new owner(s).
This job requires consistency over several months to create a Pride and Prejudoodles dog.
Responsibilities Include:
Caring for the basic social and physical needs of the puppies in your care (all meds, food, grooming, vitamins, and vet checks are paid for by the company).
Regular daily training sessions to help them evenly progress through the training curriculum.
Writing brief monthly updates on the puppy's progress and personality as it moves through the course towards its new home (systems in place to assist with this process).
Monthly assessment of health, grooming, and obedience at the main office (would require trainer travel once a month).
Keeping accurate records of health, medication, and weight (forms all provided).
Communicating with clients on occasion to discuss care, personality, and promotion of Pride and Prejudoodles dog (Pride and Prejudoodles email account to be provided).
Participating in occasional promotional activities for the training program.
Personal delivery of dogs to client (deliveries paid based on distance to client home per delivery).
