Job Description:
Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies.
Land Mobile Radio (LMR) racks and equipment for in-the-field service or staging activities.
Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents.
Perform mechanical and electrical assembly work following engineering drawings, connection lists, and interconnect diagrams.
Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
Utilizes a variety of hand tools and power tools.
Works with minimal supervision.
Makes recommendations for solutions.
Overtime as required.
2 years post-secondary/AA-AS degree plus 4+years of work experienceInterpersonal, customer facing internalMust be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basisBasic computer skills are required for time entry, email, and engineering document retrieval.
MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, etc)Knowledge in areas of:
IPC 610 & 620, Interpreting complex drawings, telecommunications/drawings, testing and troubleshooting THIRD PARTY AGENCIES, SUBCONTRACTORS, AND RECRUITERS NEED NOT APPLY.
