Recruiting Assistant

The Recruiting Assistant performs administrative and clerical duties to support the management, sales and recruiting teams within the branch office. The Recruiting Assistant's duties will include, but are not limited to, verifying candidate references, entering information into internal and external systems, managing candidate and associate records, conducting onboarding activities, payroll processing and assisting Recruiters, Sales Executives and Management in preparation of presentations, job fairs and client meetings.
Manages existing client relationships to deliver an exceptional client and candidate experience
Performs a variety of administrative tasks that support the day-to-day operations of the branch
Provides administrative assistance to those individuals involved in the sourcing and recruiting of candidates
Acts as a trusted liaison for clients, candidates and associates
Partners with coworkers to deliver a positive and value-add experience to clients, candidates and associates
Manages own workload to consistently deliver on expectations
Assists with sourcing and pre-screening candidates
Coordinates interviews screening processes with for candidates
Conducts employment verification/unemployment verification
Facilitates employee skill and drug testing for candidates
Completes new associate paperwork needed during the orientation process
Completes onboarding of associates
Administers payroll processes and handles other payroll issues as needed
Creates presentations, reports, correspondence in support of Sales Executives, Recruiters, and Management as needed
Maintains and updates candidate and client databases
Provides telephone and front desk coverage
Responds to candidate and associate inquiries in a timely manner
1-3 years experience in fast-paced, general administrative support position
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Previous experience working in a HR or Recruiting function preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
