Manager, RBCO

Job Responsibilities:



  • Attends work on a regular and predictable basis

  • Ensures the collections of services performed and goals met through use of internal reports and systems

  • Monitors adjustments and denials and correct if necessary

  • Trains employees to understand job related key terms

  • Improves work procedures and expedites workflow

  • Monitors and maintains all payer relationships ensuring all state, federal, and local government billing requirements are met and updates any and all billing requirements

  • Attends all meetings with insurance companies to ensure we are following policies and requirements

  • Uses Internet updates and phone calls to ensure we are updated on the most current billing requirements

  • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates

    • Communicates with subordinates their weaknesses and strengths on a monthly basis

    • Provides annual employee evaluations


  • Assigns duties and examines work of subordinates for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures

  • Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances

    • Takes necessary corrective action


  • Communicates with field personnel, manager, and team regarding any issues that relate to work performance, paperwork flow, or A/R collections

  • Motivates and nurtures subordinates to move up within the company


Qualifications:



  • Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or correspondence, and procedure manuals

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
